Tronic Grey Cooker Control Unit with Screwless Finish

Our review

This Tronic cooker control unit is a grey wall switch designed for the point where a cooker or oven connects to the mains. Its screwless front plate gives a flat, uninterrupted face, which suits modern kitchens where visible fixings would look out of place. The polycarbonate casing and metal plate are there for strength and a secure fit rather than decoration. It is best for someone wiring or refreshing a kitchen who wants a clean look and is not chasing elaborate features. Before buying, confirm the switch type and current rating your cooker circuit requires, since none are listed here, and check the back box depth and fixing centres match your wall. Compare it with other cooker control units on plate material, finish, and whether the terminals suit your cable size. If a plain, contemporary face matters more than extra sockets or indicators, this is a reasonable candidate. Available on Sokonia.
