Tronic Mercury E27 Bulb 125W
TSh 10,500
Our review
This is a 125-watt mercury vapour lamp from Tronic, built on the standard E27 screw base. Inside the glass, metals and gases react to produce the orange-white tone you see in many street and security lights, and the output is high enough for outdoor areas that need wide, constant illumination rather than a focused beam. It suits someone lighting a compound, gate, or yard where the fitting is already rated for this lamp type. Before buying, confirm your fixture accepts a 125W mercury bulb and an E27 base, and check whether the ballast or control gear matches. Compare with LED and sodium alternatives, which differ in running cost, warm-up time, and colour.
