Tronic 2.5mm 3 Core Flexible Cable, 100m

Our review

This is a 2.5mm three core flexible cable from Tronic, supplied as a 100 metre length. The conductors are 99.9% pure copper and the insulation is PVC, and the cable is manufactured in Tanzania. Three core flexible cable of this size is typically chosen for wiring that needs a live, neutral and earth run in one sheath, such as connecting appliances, sub-circuits or equipment that may be moved or vibrated, where a flexible stranded conductor is easier to route than a rigid one. Before buying, confirm the current rating your circuit needs, since 2.5mm cable suits some loads but not heavy ones, and check whether your installation calls for flexible cable or a solid-core alternative. Also compare copper purity, insulation material and country of manufacture against other cables, and measure your actual run so 100 metres is enough. It is available on Sokonia.
