Tronic Black Desk Lamp, 6W, 310mm Tall

Our review

This is a compact desk lamp from Tronic, finished in black and built from PVC. It draws 6W and runs on AC 220-240V mains power, so it is a plug-in light rather than a battery or USB model. At 310mm high and 180mm wide, it takes up little room on a desk, bedside table or office counter, which makes it a reasonable pick for students, remote workers or anyone who wants a small task light without a large footprint. Because the only colour listed is black, it will blend into dark furniture and neutral setups more easily than a bright or metallic finish would. Before buying, think about what a 6W lamp can realistically do: it is a low-power fitting, so check whether you need focused task lighting or just ambient light, and confirm the bulb or LED setup suits your workspace, since no bulb type is stated here. Also measure your table space against the 310mm height and 180mm width, and make sure you have a mains socket within reach of the cable, as no cable length is given. Compare it with other mains-powered desk lamps of similar wattage if you want adjustable arms, dimming or a different colour, since this model offers none of those as listed. A one-year warranty is included, which is worth noting when weighing it against unbranded alternatives. It is available on Sokonia.
