Tronic Twin Blank Cover/Plate Standard

Our review

A blanking plate is one of those small fittings you only think about when you actually need one. This Tronic twin blank cover is designed to close off a wall opening where a connection used to be, where one might go later, or where construction simply left a gap. It suits anyone tidying up a room after removing an old outlet, or anyone planning ahead and wanting the option to add a connection without cutting into the wall again. Before buying, check the size and shape of the opening you intend to cover, and confirm whether a twin plate matches the existing fittings around it. Compare with patching drywall, which takes more time and effort, or with single blank plates if your opening is smaller.
