Tronic Candle LED Bulb 5W Day Light B22 Pin

Our review

This Tronic bulb is a candle-shaped LED rated at 5 watts in a day light colour, fitted with a B22 pin base. Its purpose is decorative as much as practical: the candle form is designed to echo the look of a real flame, which is why fittings such as chandeliers, wall lights and desk lamps often call for this shape rather than a standard round bulb. It suits anyone refreshing an older-style light fitting who wants the vintage candle silhouette without a filament bulb's drawbacks. Before buying, check two things on your existing fitting: that it takes a B22 pin base, and that a candle-shaped envelope will sit correctly in the shade or holder. Compare against other candle LEDs mainly on base type, wattage and light colour, since those decide whether it fits and how the room feels. Day light tends to read cooler and whiter than warm alternatives, so consider where the lamp sits before committing.
