The 100mm sleeve has a 12mm fibre height and sits on a 5.8mm central shank, and one roller cover comes packed in a plastic bag. Because it is a mini roller, it suits touch-ups, narrow strips, corners and small wall sections better than a full-width roller, and the short nap is a reasonable match for smooth or lightly textured interior surfaces. Before buying, check that your roller frame accepts a 5.8mm shank, since that is the fit this sleeve is built around, and confirm the 100mm width matches the area you plan to cover. Compare it with larger 230mm rollers if you are doing whole rooms, and with foam or longer-nap sleeves if your walls are rougher or you are using thinner paint. Micro fibre sleeves generally need thorough washing after use to keep them working well.
