Tronic Standing Metallic Enclosure with Glass Door

Our review

This is a standing metallic enclosure from Tronic, fitted with a glass door. It is designed for the kind of setting where electrical equipment needs a physical barrier around it, whether that is a construction site, an industrial floor or a utility installation. The metal body provides the enclosure, while the glass door lets you see what is inside without opening it. Tronic also states that enclosures like this protect devices from electromagnetic and frequency interference, which matters when sensitive equipment sits near motors, drives or other noisy electrical sources.
It will suit electricians, facility managers, contractors and maintenance teams who need to house switchgear, controls or similar equipment in a visible, protected way. Before buying, think about the size of the equipment you need to fit, since no dimensions are given here, and confirm the mounting arrangement suits your floor or wall. Compare it with plain sheet-metal cabinets if visibility is not important, and with plastic enclosures if interference shielding is the priority. Check the door hardware and cable entry options against your installation.
