Nadstar Ozenis Rectangular Hanging Flower Pot, 9L, 48x16x15 cm

Our review

This is a long, narrow planter from Nadstar, listed as the Ozenis Flower Pot in a 9-litre rectangular size measuring 48 by 16 by 15 centimetres. It comes with a detachable hanger, so the same pot can sit on a surface or be hung, and the listing describes it as a fence planter suited to balconies and terraces where floor space is tight. Drainage holes and a saucer are built in, which matters for anyone who has watched water run off a balcony or stain a wall. It suits renters and small-space growers who want a row of herbs, salad leaves or trailing flowers rather than one large pot. Before buying, measure your fence rail or railing and the width you have available, since the 48-centimetre length is the part most likely to overhang. Check that the hanger fixing suits your rail type, and think about weight once the pot is filled with wet soil. Compare it with round hanging pots, which hold less in a row, and with plain troughs that need a separate bracket. Available on Sokonia.
