Tronic Twin PVC Waterproof Box for Surface-Mounted Electrical Installations

Our review

This Tronic box is a surface-mounted enclosure made from PVC, designed for electrical sockets installed where water contact is a real possibility. Because it sits on top of the wall rather than inside it, you avoid chasing or chiselling plaster, which keeps the job cleaner and reduces labour. It suits anyone wiring a socket in a bathroom, kitchen, laundry area, outdoor wall or other damp spot where a standard flush box would leave the connection exposed. Before buying, confirm the box's dimensions match your socket and that its entry points line up with your conduit or cable route. Compare it with metal alternatives, which resist impact better but can corrode, and with single boxes if you only need one outlet. Also check whether your socket is twin or single, since the wrong size means a return trip. Available on Sokonia.
