Ingco CAGLI271532 Cordless Angle Grinder, 20V Brushless, 1000W

Our review
This is a cordless angle grinder built around a brushless motor, running on Ingco's 20V battery platform. The headline numbers are a 1000W maximum input power and a no-load speed you can switch between 3000, 6000 and 9000rpm, which is unusual flexibility at this level. The kit includes two 4.0Ah batteries, a charger, and a set of ten abrasive metal cutting discs, so you can start work without hunting for extras. It suits a workshop or site user who cuts and grinds metal regularly and wants to move between tasks without a cord. The three speed settings help: lower speeds give more control on thin sheet or when using wire brushes, while the top setting handles faster cuts in mild steel. Before buying, check the disc size you normally use. This takes a 4-1/2 inch disc with a 5/8-11UNC spindle thread, so your existing discs and accessories need to match. Also think about runtime: two 4.0Ah batteries is generous for a kit, but grinding is power-hungry, so a spare charged pack matters on longer jobs. Compared with corded grinders of similar power, you trade constant mains power for freedom of movement, and compared with smaller 18V grinders, the higher top speed and larger batteries here favour heavier work. If most of your cutting happens at a bench near a socket, a corded model may still be simpler; if you work across a site or in places without power, this setup makes more sense. Available on Sokonia.
