Tronic Insect Killer 40 Watts Mosquito Zapper

Our review

This is a plug-in style flying insect killer from Tronic, rated at 40 watts. It works by electrocution: mosquitoes and other flying insects that touch the internal grid are destroyed on contact. The housing is made from fireproof ABS material, and the unit is described as having no offensive odour, being non-toxic, and safe for humans. That makes it a reasonable option for people who want to avoid sprays, coils, or chemical repellents, particularly in bedrooms, kitchens, or anywhere food is handled. Before buying, think about the size of the space you need to cover and where you will place or hang the unit, since it needs to be positioned where insects actually fly. Also consider how you will clean it, and compare it with alternatives such as UV-light traps, racket zappers, or chemical methods, weighing coverage, noise, and maintenance against the simple contact-killing approach here. No specifications beyond the 40-watt rating are provided, so check the listing on Sokonia for dimensions and power details.
