Ingco 3-Layer Metal Tool Box HTB03, 404 x 200 x 205mm

Our review

The Ingco HTB03 is a three-layer metal tool box measuring roughly 404 by 200 by 205mm, made from steel sheet between 0.6 and 0.8mm thick. It is sold empty, so you are buying the container itself, not a kit. The tiered layout suits someone who wants smaller items such as sockets, bits, fasteners or hand tools separated rather than jumbled in one deep tray, and the metal build is aimed at people who expect a box to survive being carried around a workshop, garage or vehicle. Before buying, think about the weight you plan to carry, since steel adds heft compared with plastic alternatives, and check that the internal tray arrangement matches how you actually work. Compare it with single-compartment metal boxes and moulded plastic organisers: those may be lighter or cheaper, but this one leans toward durability and simple sorting. Available on Sokonia.
