Tronic 16 Inch Oscillation Wall Fan with Blue Metal Blade

Our review

This Tronic fan is a wall-mounted cooling unit with a 16 inch blue metal blade and a head that oscillates through 90 degrees, so it can push air across a wider arc than a fixed fan. Because it mounts on a flat wall or in a corner, it suits rooms where floor and desk space are already taken, such as bedrooms, small offices, shops or dining areas. Before buying, check the wall you intend to use: you need a solid, flat surface or a corner position, plus a power point within reach of the cable. Metal blades generally move air forcefully, but they also make more noise than plastic ones, so consider where the fan will sit relative to where you sleep or work. Compare it with pedestal and table fans of the same blade size, which are easier to reposition but occupy floor space, and with ceiling fans, which cool a whole room but need ceiling height and wiring. If you want fixed, out-of-the-way airflow and a wide sweep, this type is the practical choice. It is available on Sokonia.
