Hisense 24000BTU T3 Inverter Floor Standing Air Conditioner AUF-18UR4SMJE1

Our review

This Hisense unit is a floor standing split air conditioner rated at 24000BTU with inverter control, sold under the model AUF-18UR4SMJE1 and described as a T3 design for the UAE market. Floor standing models sit upright against a wall rather than hanging high, which suits large living rooms, open-plan lounges, shops and offices where a wall mount is awkward or out of reach. Inverter operation means the compressor varies its speed instead of switching fully on and off, which generally helps with running efficiency and steadier temperatures. T3-rated cooling is aimed at hotter ambient conditions, so it is worth considering if your space gets very warm. Before buying, confirm the room size and heat load suit 24000BTU, check the electrical supply and breaker rating your installer requires, and measure the floor footprint and clearance you can give it. Compare against wall-mounted inverter units of similar capacity, which take up no floor space, and against non-inverter floor standing models that may cost less upfront but run less efficiently. Ask the seller on Sokonia about installation, pipe runs and what is included in the box, since those details decide the real cost of getting it running.
