Ingco Mini Gardening Rake/Fork 320mm HFTF38 Carbon Steel

Our review

This is a compact hand tool from Ingco that works as both a mini rake and a fork, with a 320mm overall length and an 80mm wide head made from 2.5mm carbon steel. The short handle and narrow width suit close work: loosening soil in raised beds, tidying around established plants, breaking up clumps in pots, or clearing small debris where a full-size rake will not fit. Because the head is carbon steel, it will hold an edge and take light abuse, but it can rust if left damp, so dry it after use and keep it somewhere dry. Before buying, think about the jobs you actually have. If you mostly weed between rows or work in containers, this size is practical. If you are levelling a lawn or moving gravel, you will want a longer-handled rake instead. Compare the head width and handle length with other hand cultivators and mini rakes, and check whether the tines or prongs match the soil you work. It is available on Sokonia.
