Hisense H15DSL 15-Place Freestanding Dishwasher, Silver

Our review

This Hisense freestanding dishwasher is built around a 15-place setting capacity, which puts it in the larger end of household machines. That size tends to suit bigger families, shared houses, or anyone who cooks often and would rather run one full load a day than two smaller ones. It offers eight programs, including Intensive, Rapid and Pre-Rinse, plus a self-cleaning cycle, and it uses electronic touch controls with an LED display. The tub and filter are stainless steel, and Hisense lists water overflow protection among the features. Before buying, measure the space where it will stand, since freestanding units need clearance for the door to open and for hoses at the back. Also confirm the voltage and plug type your kitchen uses, and check the dimensions and energy label on the Sokonia listing, because none are given here. Compared with slimmer 12-place machines, this one trades a little floor space for fewer, fuller washes. Against models with dial controls, the touch panel and LED display are the main step up. If you rarely fill a large load, a smaller dishwasher may waste less water and power per cycle.
