Nikai NSI909TSX Steam Iron with 320ml Tank and Nano Ceramic Soleplate

Our review

This is a corded steam iron from Nikai, built around a 2200W element and a 320ml water tank. It runs in three modes: dry, spray and steam, and adds a vertical steam function plus a burst system for tackling hanging garments or stubborn creases. The soleplate is nano ceramic, which typically glides more smoothly than bare metal and is easier to wipe clean, and an adjustable thermostat and indicator light let you set and monitor heat. A flexible 360-degree swivel cord guard helps keep the cable from snagging as you work across a board.
It suits households doing regular ironing of shirts, trousers and everyday cotton or blended fabrics, and the larger tank means fewer refills during a long session. If you mostly press delicate synthetics or iron rarely, a lighter basic model may be enough. Before buying, check the soleplate condition and that the spray and steam functions work, since these are the parts most likely to clog if the iron has used hard water. Compare against similar 2200W irons on tank size, soleplate material and cord flexibility, and consider whether you need vertical steaming. Available on Sokonia.
