JBL Wired Microphone PBM100BLK with Cardioid Pattern

Our review
The JBL PBM100BLK is a wired microphone from JBL By Harrman, built around a cardioid polar pattern and finished with a wiremesh cap that includes a windscreen. That combination points to a handheld vocal mic for spoken word, karaoke, or casual recording, where you want the mic to favour the person in front of it and reject some of the room around it. Before buying, check which connector your mixer, amplifier, or interface accepts, since the listing gives no cable or plug details. Compare it with other cardioid dynamic mics on connector type, included accessories, and whether the windscreen is replaceable. It is available on Sokonia.
