These are Tronic cable ties measuring 250 x 4.8 mm and supplied in black. They are the pull-to-tension type: you thread the tail through the self-locking head, pull until the loop is as tight as you need, and the fastener holds it there. Because the closure is permanent, the tie has to be cut with scissors when you want it off, so treat it as a one-use fixing rather than something you can loosen and reuse. They suit tidy, light-duty jobs around a home, shop, office or workshop, such as bundling loose cables, gathering garden canes, or holding items together while you work. Before buying, check the length and width against what you are securing: 250 mm gives a moderate loop, and 4.8 mm is a middle-of-the-range width, so very thin wires and very heavy loads may call for a different size. Compare with reusable hook-and-loop straps if you expect to open and close the fastening often, and with coloured or UV-resistant ties if the job is outdoors or needs to be identified.
