Our review
This is a pair of Pioneer 6x9 four-way car speakers from the A-Series, rated at 90W RMS with a 450W peak figure and 4-ohm impedance. The cone uses carbon and mica reinforced IMPP, and Pioneer describes the tuning as an open and smooth sound concept, with 92 dB sensitivity meaning they should reach useful volume from a head unit or small amp. They suit drivers replacing tired factory 6x9s in rear decks or parcel shelves who want fuller sound without a subwoofer. Before buying, confirm your openings accept 6x9 and check mounting depth and existing wiring. Compared with simpler two-way 6x9s, the four-way layout adds dedicated drivers for upper frequencies, which can sharpen detail, though some listeners prefer the smoother blend of a good component set. If you run them off head unit power alone, the high sensitivity helps, but an amplifier will get more from them. Available on Sokonia.
