This Tronic sleeve is heat shrink tubing: a tube that slides over wires, cable joints or small components and, once heated, shrinks tightly around them. The result is a sealed, insulated layer that keeps out the abrasion, moisture and general wear that exposed connections face. It suits anyone tidying a loom, repairing a damaged cable jacket or protecting a splice, whether in a vehicle, a workshop machine or a home project. The 25mm figure is the size to think about first, so measure the widest point of what you are covering and confirm the tubing will slip over it before shrinking. Yellow makes the covered run easy to spot, which helps when tracing circuits later. Compare against other diameters and colours, and against tape or conduit, which are quicker but give less of a bonded, insulated seal.
