Tronic 9W E27 LED Sensor Bulb, Daylight 6000K

Our review

This is a 9-watt LED bulb with an E27 screw base that has a built-in sensor, so it turns itself on and off without a switch or app. It gives a daylight colour of roughly 6000K, which reads crisp and white rather than warm, and Tronic lists it for both indoor and outdoor use. It suits corridors, stairwells, store rooms, gate lights and anywhere people pass through briefly and forget switches. Before buying, check your fitting is E27 and that the sensor's coverage and the bulb's exposure to daylight will not keep it triggered. Compare with plain LED bulbs plus a separate motion switch, or with bulbs that offer adjustable colour temperature.
