Tronic LED Recessed Downlight 9W Warm White

Our review

This is a recessed ceiling downlight from Tronic, rated at 9 watts and finished in warm white. It is the kind of fitting chosen when you want soft, yellowish light rather than the crisp white of cool-daylight LEDs, which makes it a reasonable pick for living rooms, bedrooms, corridors and other areas where a relaxed mood matters more than task brightness. Before buying, check the cut-out diameter your ceiling already has, since recessed fittings only sit properly when the hole size matches, and confirm whether your wiring is suited to a mains-voltage fixture. It is also worth comparing against 7W and 12W downlights: lower wattage suits accent or ambient use, while higher wattage gives more light per fitting. Warm white versus cool white is the other decision to weigh, and how many fittings a room needs depends on its size and ceiling height. The Tronic downlight is available on Sokonia.
