Tronic Frosted Glass Shade Wall Lamp

Our review

This Tronic wall lamp is a compact sconce built around two materials: a black metal frame and a frosted glass shade. The frosted glass is the part that matters most, because it diffuses the bulb's light into a softer, warmer glow instead of a harsh point of brightness. That makes it a sensible choice for accent lighting rather than as the main light in a room. It suits bedrooms, living rooms and hallways, and it works well for anyone who wants a fixture that reads as both modern and a little classic. Before buying, check the wall space and the height you want the light at, since sconces are usually placed to light a specific spot rather than a whole room. Also confirm the bulb type and fitting your fixture needs, because the listing gives no specifications. Compare it with other wall sconces on glass versus fabric shades, and with metal finishes such as brass or white, which change the look considerably. If you want a soft, layered light rather than a bright overhead source, this is worth a look. It is available on Sokonia.
