Decakila 24cm Induction Frying Pan KMEP010B with Heat Indicator

Our review

This Decakila frying pan measures 24cm across, roughly nine inches, and is made from aluminium, so it stays light enough to lift and toss one-handed. The built-in heat indicator is the detail worth noting: it gives you a visual cue for when the pan has warmed up, which helps when you are searing meat, frying fish or setting an omelet. Because it is induction-ready, it should work on induction hobs as well as other common hob types, though it is worth confirming your cooker's requirements before ordering. The dishwasher-safe claim matters if you dislike hand washing, but many cooks still rinse aluminium cookware by hand to keep the surface in good condition. Think about what you already own: a 24cm pan sits in the middle of the range, smaller than a family-sized 28cm skillet and larger than a single-egg pan, so it suits couples, small households and anyone cooking for one or two. If you regularly cook for a crowd, a wider pan may serve you better. Compare the base thickness and handle feel against similar pans before deciding. Available on Sokonia.
