Tronic Decorative Globe Frosted Glass Wall Light with Gold Arm

Our review

This Tronic fixture is a wall-mounted light built around a globe-shaped shade in frosted glass, held by a curved metal arm with a smooth gold finish. The frosted glass softens the bulb's glare, so it tends to read as ambient or accent lighting rather than a bright task light, which makes it a reasonable pick for a bedside wall, a hallway, a stairwell, or a pair flanking a mirror. It suits someone who wants a warm, decorative look and is willing to plan the fitting rather than buy on impulse. Before ordering, check the bulb type and wattage your fixture accepts, since none are listed here, and confirm the arm's reach and backplate suit your wall and mounting height. Also think about whether the gold finish matches your other hardware, and how you will clean frosted glass without smearing it. Compare it with plain sconces or exposed-bulb designs: this one leans decorative, so it works best where the light itself is part of the look. Available on Sokonia.
