Hitachi HRCS9200MNWGF 200L Chest Freezer with Mechanical Thermostat

Our review

This is a 200-litre free-standing chest freezer from Hitachi, model HRCS9200MNWGF, built around a mechanical control system and static cooling. The design keeps things simple: an integrated handle, a mechanical thermostat cover, and a hanging basket for smaller items you want within reach. Hitachi also lists low noise operation, energy efficiency, and power failure safety, and describes it as suited to tropical climates, which matters if the room it sits in gets hot for much of the year. It suits households that need bulk frozen storage, small food businesses, or anyone buying in larger quantities less often. Before deciding, think about where it will stand, how often you will open it, and whether a chest or upright shape fits your space better. Compare defrost effort, basket layout, and running noise against other freezers of similar capacity. Available on Sokonia.
