Tronic Round Surface White LED Ceiling Light, GU10, Polycarbonate

Our review

This Tronic fitting is a small round surface light in white polycarbonate, measuring 100mm high by 95mm wide. It takes a GU10 lamp and runs on AC 220-240V, and it carries a one-year warranty. Because it is surface-mounted rather than recessed, it suits ceilings or walls where you cannot cut a hole, such as concrete slabs, rented rooms, corridors, stairwells and small utility areas. It is a sensible choice if you want a neat, low-profile look without major installation work.
Before buying, check two things. First, the GU10 lamp itself is not included, so budget for one and decide whether you want warm white for living areas or cool white for task lighting. Second, confirm your ceiling can take a surface fixing and that a 100mm drop is acceptable in your space. Compare it with recessed spots, which sit flush but need ceiling depth, and with larger bulkhead lights, which cover more area but look heavier. Also weigh polycarbonate against metal bodies if heat or style matters to you. This one is available on Sokonia.
