Tronic Up and Down Silver Spotlight — Outdoor Wall Light, IP44

Our review

This Tronic fitting is a twin-beam outdoor wall light: a silver, flush-mounted unit that casts light both upward and downward against the wall. Because it is built for weatherproof outdoor use and carries an IP44 rating, it suits gate pillars, entrance walls, verandas and boundary walls where a plain bulkhead would look flat. Before ordering, check the wall surface and mounting height, since the up-and-down effect depends on how far the light sits from the wall, and confirm the beam spread works for your space. Compare it with single-direction spots, which light one area only, and with larger floodlights, which cover more ground but give a harsher, wider glare. If you want a decorative wash of light rather than security-level brightness, this style is the better fit. Available on Sokonia.
