Tronic Inground Light IP65 7W LED Recessed Floor Spotlight

Our review

This Tronic fitting is a recessed LED spotlight designed to sit flush with the ground, either fixed to a hard surface or buried in soil. Because it runs without a transformer, wiring is simpler than with low-voltage garden lights, and the IP65 rating means it is sealed against dust and water jets, which matters for anything installed outdoors in Tanzania's rain. It suits pathways, patios, entrances, staircases and gazebos where you want light washing upward rather than a flood from above. Before buying, check the cutout diameter and depth your surface allows, confirm the beam angle and colour temperature suit the mood you want, and think about whether you prefer a single 7W unit or several spaced along a path. Compare it with solar stake lights, which need no wiring but depend on sunshine, and with higher-wattage mains spots that give more punch but draw more power. Available on Sokonia.
