Tronic 3W LED Bulb E27 Big Screw

Our review

This is a low-wattage LED bulb from Tronic with an E27 big screw base, the wider threaded fitting found on most household ceiling lights, wall brackets, table lamps and bulkheads. At 3 watts it draws very little power, so it suits spots where you want gentle, continuous light rather than a bright main beam, such as a bedside lamp, a hallway fixture or a small room you leave on in the evening. Tronic describes its LED range as clean, efficient and affordable, and coloured versions are intended to shift the mood of a space rather than light it for tasks. Before buying, confirm your fitting is E27 and not the smaller E14, and think about whether 3 watts gives enough brightness for the room; if you need more output, a higher-wattage bulb in the same range is the natural comparison. Also check whether you want a coloured or standard white bulb, since the listing covers both uses. Available on Sokonia.
