CKE WG-805G 8oz Gas Popcorn Machine

Our review
The CKE WG-805G is a countertop popcorn popper that runs on LPG gas rather than electricity, with an 8oz kettle and a red and glass body. Gas heating is the main reason to consider it: it reaches high heat quickly and keeps working where mains power is unreliable, which suits street vendors, festival operators, cinema concession stands and school canteens turning out batch after batch. Before buying, confirm your gas supply and regulator match the unit, check that ventilation and clearance around a countertop gas appliance are adequate, and think about where you will store it between events. Compare it with electric poppers of similar kettle size, which are simpler to place indoors but slower to heat and dependent on power, and with larger gas models if your volume is higher. The glass and red finish makes the popping visible to customers, a small plus for stalls. Spare parts and kettle availability are worth asking about, since gas poppers need more routine care than electric ones. Available on Sokonia.
