Tronic Aluminium Diecast Wall Light, 12W Grey, IP44

Our review

This is a compact outdoor wall fixture from Tronic, built from diecast aluminium and finished in grey. At 140mm square and rated 12W at 220–240V, it is a modest, low-profile fitting rather than a floodlight, so it suits doorways, garden walls, stairwells and other spots where you want gentle light washing across the wall rather than a bright beam. The IP44 rating means it is protected against splashes, which makes it a reasonable choice for covered porches and areas sheltered from direct rain, though it is not intended for full exposure or immersion. Before buying, check the voltage of your supply and confirm the fitting suits the wall surface and mounting height you have in mind. Also think about whether you want a warm or cool lamp, since the bulb is not specified here, and compare with similar diecast aluminium wall lights on build quality, finish and IP rating. A one-year warranty applies.
