Tronic Single Socket with TV and Data Socket, White

Our review

This Tronic socket is a white wall fitting that pairs a single power point with TV and data ports on one plate. It is aimed at living rooms, home offices and similar spots where a television, router or set-top box sit together and you would rather not cut three separate openings into the wall. The rounded edges and shiny surface are meant to blend with contemporary interiors. Before buying, confirm the port types and cable connectors your TV and internet setup actually use, and check whether your wall box or back box has room for the wiring behind a combined plate. Compare it with separate single sockets and standalone TV or data outlets, which can be simpler if you only need one connection, and with double-socket versions if you need two power points at the same spot.
