Tronic Golf Filament LED Bulb 4W B22 Warm White

Our review

This is a small golf-ball shaped LED bulb from Tronic, rated at 4 watts and fitted with a B22 pin base. It uses a clear glass cover and a visible LED filament, so the bulb itself is meant to be seen rather than hidden behind a shade. The warm white output suits lamps where you want a soft, cosy glow rather than bright task lighting. It works well in exposed fittings such as bedside lamps, small pendants, wall sconces and decorative fixtures where a standard bulky bulb would look out of place. Before ordering, confirm your socket is B22 pin and not bayonet-style screw, and check the fitting can take a golf-ball size bulb. Because no dimming or colour temperature figures are listed, treat it as a straightforward warm white lamp. Compared with frosted or opaque LED bulbs, the clear filament design gives a more traditional look but can appear a little more glary when viewed directly. If you need higher brightness for a main room, a larger wattage bulb may serve you better. Available on Sokonia.
