Tronic SVGA HD Cable, 20 Metres, Black

Our review

This is a 20-metre Tronic SVGA HD cable in black, intended for carrying a video signal over a long distance between a computer and a monitor, projector or similar display. The length is the main point here: twenty metres is enough to reach across a room, along a wall or between floors, which is more than most standard cables manage. It suits someone setting up a fixed installation where the source and the screen sit far apart, such as a classroom, office or shop counter. Before buying, check the ports on both devices, since SVGA is an older analogue connection and will not fit HDMI or DisplayPort sockets without an adapter. Also measure your actual route rather than the straight-line distance, and think about whether the cable will run near power lines or sharp edges. Compared with shorter cables of the same type, you are paying for reach, so only choose this length if you genuinely need it. A shorter cable is usually tidier and less prone to signal loss. The listing gives no further specifications, so confirm connector type and any warranty details on Sokonia before ordering.
