Ocean Munich Beer Glass Tumbler, 355ml, 2-Piece Set

Our review

This is a two-piece set of Ocean's Munich-style beer tumbler, each glass holding 355ml, or 12 1/2 oz. The glasses are transparent, stand 141mm tall, and measure 72mm across the top, 84mm at the base and 117mm at the middle, with the pair weighing 660g in total. The shape suits lager, pilsner and other light beers, and the 355ml fill lines up neatly with a standard can or small bottle, so you can pour a whole serving without guessing. It also works for water, juice or soft drinks if you want matching glassware on the table. Before buying, think about how you will use them: the 72mm rim is fairly wide, which helps aroma but makes them less suited to narrow cupboards, and the clear glass shows smudges, so hand washing or a gentle cycle is worth considering. Compare with straight-sided pint glasses if you want something taller, or with stemmed beer glasses if you prefer a more formal look. The set is available on Sokonia.
