Tronic Gold 2 Gang Data Socket
TSh 20,500
Our review
This is a two-gang data socket from Tronic, finished in a gold tone with a slim profile, smooth edges and a shiny surface intended to sit well in modern home or office interiors. It is aimed at anyone wiring a fixed network or telephone point into a wall rather than running loose cables, and it suits both new installations and upgrades where the faceplate needs to match the room. Before buying, confirm the number of ports you actually need, since this is a two-gang unit, and check that the connectors you plan to terminate match the socket. Ethernet and telephone cables look very similar, so it is easy to mix them up; identify your cable type first. Compare with other faceplates on port count, finish and how the module fits your existing back box, and note that no specifications are listed here. Available on Sokonia.
