Tronic Ethernet RJ45 Cat 6 Patch Cord, 3 Metres, Anti-Break Latch

Our review

This is a three-metre Cat 6 patch cord from Tronic, fitted with RJ45 connectors and a latch built to resist breaking. The manufacturer put it through a 180-degree bending test and 500 insert-and-remove cycles without damage, and the connector is made to stay fixed rather than work loose. It suits anyone cabling a router, switch, access point or wall outlet to a device where the run is short and the cable may get tugged or bent around furniture. Before buying, confirm the length you actually need and that both ends are RJ45 ports, since Cat 6 is backward compatible with Cat 5e equipment but the connector type still has to match. Compared with ordinary patch cords, the reinforced latch and angled cable arrangement are the main differences; if your cable never moves, a basic cord may do. If it gets plugged and unplugged often, this one is worth considering. Available on Sokonia.
