Hisense 86″ 4K UHD Multi-Touch Interactive Display Board, 86WE3FE

Our review

This is a large-format interactive display from Hisense, sized at 86 inches with a 4K UHD panel and multi-touch input. Inside it runs Android with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, so it works as a standalone device rather than just a screen you plug a laptop into. Hisense positions the range as combining a digital display, tablet, electronic whiteboard and teaching tools in one unit, which tells you the intended audience: schools, training rooms, meeting spaces and anyone currently juggling a projector, a whiteboard and a separate computer. Before buying, think about the room rather than the spec sheet. An 86-inch panel needs a wall strong enough to carry it, a viewing distance that suits the space, and a decision on whether you mount it or use a mobile stand. Check what your existing devices connect over and whether the apps your team or class already uses will run on Android. Compare it against other interactive flat panels in the same size class, particularly on touch responsiveness, built-in software and how easily staff can share screens wirelessly. If you mainly need a display for video, a standard commercial screen may cost less; the value here is in the touch and whiteboard functions. Available on Sokonia.
