Westpoint WST-2423.L Wall Split Inverter Air Conditioner, 24000 BTU

Our review

This is a wall-mounted split inverter air conditioner from Westpoint, model WST-2423.L, rated at 24,000 BTU. That capacity puts it in the range suited to large rooms, open-plan living areas, or offices where a smaller unit would struggle to keep up. It runs on R410A refrigerant, which is the common choice in this class of equipment, and Westpoint lists an energy saving mode alongside quiet operation, two things worth caring about if the unit will run for long stretches or sit near where you sleep or work.
Before deciding, think about the room itself. A 24,000 BTU unit is more than many bedrooms need, and oversizing can mean short cycling rather than comfort, so match capacity to floor area, ceiling height, and how much sun the room takes. Also confirm the electrical supply your installation will need and whether the wall position allows proper airflow and drainage, since those are installation questions rather than product ones.
Compared with other split inverters of similar capacity, the useful points of difference here are the inverter operation, the stated quiet running, and the energy saving mode. Ask about installation and after-sales support where you buy, and check the unit's label against the listing. It is available on Sokonia.
