Tronic Dome White Tinted Glass Ceiling Light

Our review

The Tronic Dome is a ceiling fixture built around a white circular shade, with metalware that the maker describes as giving it a safe and pleasant presence. It is the sort of light you consider when a room needs general illumination rather than a statement piece, and when you want the fitting itself to stay visually quiet against a pale ceiling. It suits bedrooms, corridors, small lounges and rental spaces where a plain, rounded shade blends in. Before buying, check the ceiling height and the size of the shade against your room, confirm the fitting matches your existing wiring and bulb type, and think about whether a tinted glass shade will give you the brightness you want. Compare it with flush mounts and pendants of similar shape: the Dome leans toward understated, multipurpose lighting rather than a decorative centrepiece. Available on Sokonia.
