Tronic Gold Satellite Socket, 90mm Bakelite Wall Outlet

Our review

This is a wall-mounted satellite socket from Tronic, finished in gold and built from bakelite. Its job is simple: give you a fixed connection point where a satellite cable can terminate without dragging signal quality down, which matters most on longer runs where every weak joint adds up. It suits anyone wiring a room for a decoder or receiver who wants the cable to end at a proper plate rather than hang loose from the wall. The 90mm by 90mm face is a common size, so check your existing box and mounting holes before ordering, and confirm the connector type on your cable matches what the socket accepts. Compared with plastic-faced outlets, bakelite is the notable difference here, and the 250V AC rating covers standard mains-adjacent installations. A one-year warranty applies.
