Tronic Recessed Downlight Round 9W Daylight ILU DR09-WH-DL

Our review

This is a round recessed downlight from Tronic, rated at 9 watts and finished in a daylight colour tone, sold under the model reference ILU DR09-WH-DL. It is the kind of fitting people choose when they want ceiling lighting that sits flush rather than hanging into the room, and the daylight tone suits spaces where a cooler, more natural-looking white is preferred over a warm yellow glow. It tends to suit anyone fitting out a home, office, shop or rental unit where several matching units are needed across a ceiling.
Before buying, check the cut-out diameter your ceiling already has or that your electrician plans to make, since a recessed fitting only works if the hole size matches. Also confirm the colour temperature suits the room, because daylight is noticeably cooler than warm white and can feel clinical in a bedroom. Compare it with other 9 watt recessed downlights on the market on beam angle, dimming support and connector type, none of which are stated here. If those details matter to you, ask the seller on Sokonia before ordering.
