Five cores in one sheath suits wiring where several conductors need to run together between a supply point and equipment, such as distribution boards, control panels, pumps and machinery connections, rather than fixed single-core runs through conduit. The 100-metre length lets you plan a full circuit without joining cable mid-run, which matters where joints would be inaccessible or add resistance. Before buying, confirm the current rating your circuit needs, since 4mm copper has limits that depend on installation method, ambient temperature and how many cables are grouped; check whether your electrician wants flexible stranded cores or solid ones, and whether the sheath suits the route, indoor or exposed.
