Tronic Ornamental Outdoor Wall Lamp, E27, IP65, Black
TSh 59,000
Our review
This Tronic wall lamp is an outdoor fitting with a traditional ornamental look, a built-in sensor and a black PVC body. It takes an E27 bulb, so the light output and colour temperature are your choice rather than fixed by the fixture, and it runs on AC 220 to 240V, which suits Tanzanian mains supply. At 430mm high and 225mm wide it is a fairly tall lantern, so measure your wall space and check the mounting height clears doors and steps. The IP65 rating means it is protected against dust and water jets, making it a reasonable pick for exposed walls, gates and verandas where rain hits. Because the sensor is built in, compare it with plain wall lanterns if you would rather use a separate motion detector or a smart switch. Also weigh PVC against metal or glass housings, which feel heavier but may age differently outdoors. A one-year warranty is stated. Available on Sokonia.
