Our review
This EvoQ freestanding cooker is a 90 by 60 centimetre unit that mixes four gas burners with two electric ones, so you can keep a gas flame for quick frying and use electricity for gentler or longer cooking. One of the gas burners is a mini wok burner, which helps if you cook with a wok or need concentrated heat. The oven is electric and includes a grill, turbo fan, thermostat, oven lamp and a chicken turnspit, plus a dish warmer and mechanical timer. The cast iron grid and glass lid are practical touches for daily use. It suits larger households or anyone who wants both fuel types in one appliance. Before buying, measure your kitchen space and confirm you have both a gas connection and a suitable electrical supply. Compare with all-gas or all-electric 90cm cookers if you prefer a single fuel source, and check the burner layout against your usual pots.
