Tronic Spot LED 7W E27 Screw Bulb, Daylight

Our review

This is a 7-watt LED spot bulb from Tronic with an E27 screw base and a daylight colour tone. The spotlight design throws a narrower, more directed beam than a standard round bulb, which makes it useful when you want to pick out a specific area rather than light a whole room evenly. It suits renters and homeowners fitting accent lighting over a picture or shelf, task lighting above a desk or worktop, or decorative fixtures where a focused pool of light is the point. Before buying, check that your fitting takes an E27 screw cap and that the fixture can handle a directional bulb, since spots can look harsh in open shades. Also confirm the beam angle and brightness suit the space, as 7W is modest. Compare with standard LED bulbs if you need broad room light, and with higher-wattage spots if you need more punch.
