Tronic Wall Light E27 40W Black Outdoor IP44

Our review

This is a black outdoor wall light from Tronic, rated IP44 and built around a single E27 lampholder with a maximum load of 40W. The IP44 rating means it is protected against splashing water and solid objects above 1mm, which is the level most buyers look for on a porch, veranda, gate pillar or the outside wall of a shop or office. Because it takes a standard E27 bulb rather than an integrated LED, you choose the colour temperature and brightness yourself, and you can swap the bulb later without replacing the fitting. Before ordering, check the E27 base and the 40W ceiling, since higher-wattage bulbs are not what this fitting is made for. Also confirm the wall you are mounting on can take screws and that a cable route exists, as no mounting or wiring details are listed. Compare it with other IP44 wall lights on bracket type, finish and whether they include a bulb, then decide if the simple black design fits your exterior. Available on Sokonia.
